Broadband access networks are witnessing a convergence in terms of both technologies and services. Next-generation services demand unified technologies spread across the physical, data-link, and network layers. Integrated platforms have benefits in terms of deployment cost as well as the ability to provision new services. To investigate these problems at the optical (physical), data link SONET/SDH/Ethernet/RPR), and the network (MPLS, IP) layers, the First Symposium on Advanced Networks and Telecommunication Systems (ANTS) 2007 is being organized. - We invite you to two days of intellectual stimulation with thought-provoking talks, interactions and networking opportunities. - Three exciting Keynotes from Dr Krish Prabhu (CEO of Tellabs), Mr. Subrahmanyam P (SVP, Wipro) and Charles Kawwas (VP, LSI Inc) - Over two dozen invited talks including: Jayshree Ullal (SVP, Cisco Systems), Jin Ye Pan (CTO, Nokia Siemens Networks, China), Kamran Sistanazadeh (CTO Yipes), K.
